Welcome to the Home of Big Box Cutters. Take a minute and step out of the box. Dare to be different. Laugh at yourself and make stupid puns. Here you can find doses of all things that inspire my cohorts and me, ranging anywhere from Marketing, Balls and Gas to Lolcats. Go ahead and break some boxes, we won't complain.

Interesting video, but I missed the "new day" point. As a software developer, the achilles heel are users capable of turning off features in their web browser such as JavaScript. Turn it off in your browser and see how many of these "Web 2.0" sites break down, including blogger.com.
This is why you are seeing a trend with vendors moving back to forcing users to download and install new presentation software - like Windows Media Player, Adobe Apollo and Google Desktop, and all the new Internet TV vendors with their own "Frontend".
I think it is a mistake, forcing users to download a dozen "frontend" tools is annoying.
The trick is for web site to specifically ask users what they wish to see in adverstising. Be honest and stop throwing stuff down their throat. Its overwhelming. I recently read someone say; "It is no longer possible to tell the consumer 'Just Do It' and expect them to obey. For a brand to succeed, active engagement, active MEANINGFUL engagement between the brand and the consumer must take place."
Hmmm, now where did I read that advice? Oh, YOU! :-)
